Youth With A Mission (YWAM) is a international, interdenominational missions movement and was founded in 1960. It is represented in around 191 nations. At the 1,200 locations there are close to 30,000 full time staff. YWAM’s many ministries fit into three main categories:
Evangelism (telling people about Jesus)
Training (equipping people for missions, e.g. Discipleship Training School )
Mercy Ministries (showing God’s love practically through various means)
Through these ministries, we desire to see God’s transformation in every sphere of society.
Especially (but not only!) youth and young people are involved in YWAM’s work, investing their giftings and talents in many different ways and various areas.
