The M I S S I O N . N O W gathering is a weekend dedicated to the Great Commission and missions. The heart behind this event is two-part:

1. to celebrate what God has done in the nations over the past decade. Worship, testimonies and reports will be shared.

2. to look ahead and invite participants to take action to be part of the Great Commission, in whichever capacity each one has.

More details will follow, but the event will take place at The Space in Nuremberg, Germany.

Sven, Michal and Rosie will be spending two weeks in Sarasota, Florida in the U.S. They will speak at churches and small groups as well as hosting an open-house event for those who are interested in missions.

It will also be a precious time to reconnect with friends and supporters.

Sven will be teaching at YWAM Hopeland in Jinja, Uganda during a several week long stay training for new staff who recently joined YWAM. During his one week teaching, Sven will focus on leadership skills, mental health and holistic ministry.

Sven will be teaching on “Hearing God’s Voice” in the Discipleship Training School in Jinja, Uganda for one week.

He taught at that YWAM base for the first time beginning of 2019 and enjoyed it very much. God has connected their hearts and he has the honour of going back to be teaching there. He loves Africa and firmly believes God wants to see more Africans released into missions.

Sven will be teaching on “Hearing God’s Voice” in the Discipleship Training School in Nuremberg, Germany for one week.

This gathering is to serve as a meeting place with the Lord and one another. The global Y eldership comes together to receive further understanding on the unique hour of history we’re in. It will also be a defining gathering regarding Y’s unique role & calling as an Apostolic missionary movement.

YWAM Ascend in Birmingham, AL is running a Mobile Europe DTS in partnership with YWAM Nürnberg, Germany. For 12 weeks, the students of this school are traveling throughout the lecture phase and will stop in various locations in Germany & England.

After completion of the lecture phase, the school heads out on outreach to preach the Gospel in the 10/40 window.

For one week, the DTS (Discipleship Training School) Staff team for the Mobile DTS will receive training & practical tips on how to lead the student body well. We want to learn more about discipleship methods and how to help students process what they are learning.

It is on our hearts that information would turn into revelation and result in transformation of the students hearts, mind, souls & lives.

We are joined by our dear friends Mike & Ros Oman - Mike wrote a book on the Fatherheart of God.

As YWAM Ascend, we are partnering with Church of the Highlands. Their annual GROW Conference is an incredible time of growth, insight and fellowship.

The Heroes DTS (Discipleship Training School) is starting on August 12th! To help our Taff be prepared and equipped so they can lead & disciple the students well, we are having our DTS staff training.

During this time, we will look at various topics regarding leadership, team-dynamics, learning styles and YWAM as well as its entry-level school, the DTS.

DTS - For the first time will I be traveling to Uganda. There I will be teaching in a DTS on learning to hear Gods voice. I am excited for this time with my African YWAM family and the base there. I am anticipating for God to do great things!

DTS - I have the great honor to teach in a Discipleship Training School at a YWAM base in Nigeria. The school focuses on the ministry to IDP’s (Internally Displaced People) - in essence victims of the muslim terrorist attacks through Boko Haram and Fulani Herdsmen.

Youth Gathering - While in Nigeria, we are holding a youth gathering to mobilize 1,000 Nigerian young people for missions. It is the time that we see the fulfillment of what God has been speaking for decades: people from everywhere to everywhere. For so long Nigeria has been a missionary receiving nation. Now it is time that Nigerians answer to the call of the Great Commission boldly.

For Christmas & New Years I will be in Seattle & Lynden in Washington State. This will be a great time to reconnect with friends on the west coast of America. Lynden is very close to the Canadian border. I’m expecting to have a cold & snow-filled winter.

I am planning on having a prayer retreat during this time as well as the new year begins.

Clemson, Pendleton & Central in South Carolina have been places to recharge and connect with very good friends for me for several years now.

Many of you have heard me share about The Potters Place before. It’s a ministry that made it their mission to host the presence of God in prayer cabins, prayer walk-ways and retreat houses for pastors and missionaries.

The Eastern North America Gathering of Youth With A Mission is an annual gathering of YWAM bases from the Eastern part of North America (USA & Canada). It’s a time where many missionaries come together to worship, pray & strategize.

Historically, gatherings like this have always been times when God speaks to us corporately as a missions movement. It also is a wonderful time to connect with other bases & ministries from our more immediate region.

This gathering holds a place of great significance in my life as I committed to be long-term in missions at this very gathering in 2014.

YWAM Nürnberg has invited me to spend time with their staff who will be involved with the upcoming Marriage of the Arts Discipleship Training School (MOTA DTS).

I will have the privilege to train them for three days on the history & values of YWAM as well as practical leadership principles helpful for staffing the school of international students.

YWAM Together is a bi-yearly gathering of all YWAM staff internationally. It's a unique time where we gather as a family and where we hear from the Lord corporately. 

It's good to be connected with the wider YWAM family. I'll be visiting the base, YWAM missionaries and friends during this time.
